For further information about the following music programs or to arrange an audition for any of the groups, please contact Mark Topper, Coordinator of Sacred Music at (717) 637-5236 or by e-mail:   Additional participants are needed for all areas of music ministry.

Cantor Program

The Cantor Program trains our parish cantors and rehearsals are held periodically throughout the year based on need.  Participation is by audition only and cantors must be able to read music and possess outstanding musical skills, including the ability to engage and lead the assembly in prayer through song

Children’s Choir

The children’s choir rehearses on Thursday evenings from 6:30 to 7:15.  Any interested children in grades K through 8 are invited to be a member of the group.  Singers learn basic to advanced vocal techniques through the practice and performance of warm-ups and sacred music.  The children’s choir sings at least one time per month at the Saturday evening Mass or at one of the Sunday Masses.

Adult Choir

The adult choir rehearses on Thursday evenings from 7:30 to 8:30.  Membership is open to all parishioners who enjoy singing.  The ability to read music is helpful, but not a must.  This ministry adds to the celebration and worship of the Mass via singing a variety of sacred music.  The adult choir sings for one of the Sunday or Saturday evening Masses approximately one time per month and for other liturgical events.

Parishioners with talent on one or more musical instruments are invited to contact the Coordinator of Sacred Music to discuss participation in Masses or other liturgical events.

Contemporary Ensemble

This musical group accompanies the Ablaze Youth Choir at Masses or other liturgical events.
