RCIA - The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults

The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults is an eight to nine month in-depth course of study required for those adults desiring to become Catholic.  The study encompasses the adult catechism and a review of the traditions of the Church.  The course is also open to those present Catholics desiring to learn more about their faith.  Weekly classes, lasting approximately two hours (7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.), are conducted from September through April on Thursday evenings.  Class preparation includes 1-1½ hours of study. Additional team members are welcome and encouraged to contact the coordinator.  If you enjoy teaching and feel God may be calling you to spread His Word, please contact the RCIA Coordinator:

2nd Timothy 1:8 Ministry

This ministry uses the Bible, sacred tradition, the Catechism, and church history to enrich the lives of God’s people. Adult education classes consist of 10 evenings over 3 months (Sept., Nov., Jan.), usually Tuesday nights from 7:00 – 8:30. The topics are designed to restore or reinforce your faith in the Catholic Church and cover some of the challenging and misunderstood teachings of our faith. These classes are open to Catholics and non- Catholics. Additionally, we support a variety of outreach programs including evangelization and visitation. Mentoring Couples

This ministry involves trained married couples who sponsor engaged couples preparing for Catholic marriage.  Each trained Sponsor Couple hosts, in their own home, a series of 4 or 5 meetings with an engaged couple. The couples discuss many topics including communication, intimacy, children, extended family relationships, finances, and spirituality.  The conversations with the engaged couple are confidential.  If you are a Catholic married couple who would like to share your experience with couples preparing for marriage, please call for additional information.
