The Gabriel Project

cherished
cherished

The Gabriel Project is a national, parish-based pregnancy assistance resource. Our concerns extend beyond ensuring that a child's life is spared or that a mother receives initial baby items. A Gabriel Project parish's mission goes beyond serving its own parishioners and parish boundaries. We strive to support all pregnant mothers in need, regardless of their personal circumstances, family size, age, or their baby's gestational stage.

Participants, known as Gabriel Angels, receive calls from those in need, helping to discern how the Gabriel Project can minister to their spiritual needs and assist them and their families with physical support. Gabriel Angels are encouraged to participate at a level that does not interfere with their family responsibilities.

Additional Angels are always needed to help the Gabriel Project communicate its mission and needs within the parish, engage with project donors, and collaborate with other participating churches.

The St. Joseph Respect Life Committee

chosen

The St. Joseph Respect Life Committee serves the parish community by educating and promoting the dignity of all human life, from conception to natural death. The group meets on the first Thursday of each month with the Parish Council of Catholic Women to plan various Respect Life projects throughout the year. New volunteers, both men and women, are always welcome and appreciated.

40 Days For Life

sent

40 Days For Life is made up of three components:

  • Prayer and Fasting: Believers throughout our city are invited to join together for 40 days of fervent prayer and fasting for an end to abortion
  • Peaceful Vigil: Stand for life during a 40-day peaceful public witness outside the local Planned Parenthood facility
  • Community Outreach: Help take a positive, upbeat pro-life message to every corner of our city through media efforts, advocacy, and public visibility.

Beginning February 17th, join the pro-life prayer vigilers, prayerfully and peacefully, from the area churches, across the street from Planned Parenthood during Lent. Please give up an hour of your time to pray for moms, dads, and babies. There will be leaders present on Tuesdays from 9 AM to 2 PM, as well as Wednesdays and Fridays (Abortion days) from 8 AM to 2:30 PM.
