The Parish Finance Council assists the Pastor in managing parish temporal matters by supporting his stewardship of parish resources while remaining accountable to both the parish and the diocesan bishop. The council plays a key role in overseeing and promoting the parish's financial health. Meetings are held at least once per quarter or more frequently if necessary.

The Finance Council's responsibilities include reviewing reports on budgeting, income receipts, and disbursements; examining periodic financial statements; providing an annual report on the parish's financial status; advising the Pastor on matters related to incurring and repaying parish debt; recommending diocesan approval for proposed contracts exceeding a specified dollar amount; and addressing issues to protect parish property ownership.

Members of the Finance Council are appointed by the Pastor.
